Being insensitive does not always mean that you just don't care about other people’s feelings. Sometimes if not often, it is a person’s security blanket. To act as if you just don’t care and that you’re not affected in order to avoid pain and confrontation. We keep forgetting that this is not a perfect world, that we cannot find the answer by avoiding the question.

It could also be that you are protective to your own feelings or you are protecting someone else’s feelings. Whatever the reason may be, it’s hard to be the receiving end of the one’s insensitivity… but that’s part of life, if it’s meant to happen it will… We can just accept it as is, feel the pain, mourn a bit, smile and move forward. Ü

P.S. This is for those who have been in the receiving end of my insensitivity. I’m really sorry.
